The North Delhi Municipal Corporation (NDMC) has relaunched its website equipped with few new features and options. The website primarily focuses on promoting e-governance and reducing the scope for corruption.
The website is designed and developed with the latest technology and has an enhanced look and feel. Optimised for mobile-based users, it can accessible anytime from anywhere with a smartphone.
The idea was to cut down human contact which means going from in line to online for any kinds of civic work. The website is planned soon to be linked with social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter and Instagram for expanding connectivity with people and generating more engagements.
With this relaunch, now people can apply for mutation of property tax records online and receive mutation certificate. Also, there is a launch of mobile application which addresses parking-related matters and allows residents to lodge complaints with the NDMC.
“The website also contains easy access links to various platforms – Mayor helpline, call centre help line, online parking lot management system, and online unauthorised construction management system,” says Preety Agarwal, Mayor, North Delhi.
