KKR, a global investment firm, has decided to invest about Rs 200 crore in Signature Global India’s two Gurgaon-based affordable housing projects. The projects will be constructed under the Haryana Affordable Housing policy. KPMG India and Yes Securities are financial advisors to this transaction.
Signature Global India, a real estate company, is pleased with this partnership which will eventually help them initiate the construction of their upcoming development soon. The company is in the process to begin development of almost 7,400 affordable housing units out of which 5,000 units are allotted to the realtors.
With a plan to develop 1 lakh affordable housing units till 2022, Signature Global India has also found a suitable partner for a joint development agreement across India in the same segment. The talk is in the final stage for Mumbai affordable housing segment.
Moreover, the realty group will launch around 20,000 affordable housing units for first-time homebuyers by the end of this financial year.
