Aldar Properties, an Abu Dhabi-based real estate developer, has signed a private contractor Ghantoot General Construction on a Dh500 million contract to develop a total of 512 residences in Mayan project situated on Yas Island.
The contract includes the development of five blocks where 11-storeys tower comprising a total 493 apartments and 19 villas have to be built. Mayan project is commenced in April 2015 at Cityscape Abu Dhabi. The project consists of all varieties of apartments that are studios and one, two, three and four-bedroom apartments around a golf course.
The early stage work was given to Dutch Foundation & Concrete Rehabilitation at a deal of Dh30 million in November. Aldar has informed that it has sold 75 per cent of project off plan.
“Since we launched Mayan last year, we have seen strong interest and we expect this to continue,” says Talal Al Dhiyebi, Chief Development Officer, Aldar Properties.
