The City and Industrial Development Corporation of Maharashtra (CIDCO) has raised almost Rs 190 crore in through a sale of 8 plots located in Kharghar, New Panvel and Kalamboli during the recent bidding.
All the locations are around the new proposed Navi Mumbai airport which is planned to be spread over the area of 2,268 hectares. The final prices of two plots in Kharghar are Rs 1.37 lakh per sq. mt. and Rs 1.22 lakh per sq. mt. whereas plots in New Panvel were sold at Rs1.13 lakh per sq. mt. and 1.02 lakh per sq. mt.
“All plots had received good response with multiple bids. The prices at which plots have been sold belie any negative fallout of demonetisation on Navi Mumbai’s property market,” says Rajesh Prajapati, Director, Prajapati Group.
